  • Subject-specific new release service for print media and e-books: Do you report your titles to VLB, KNV or Nielsen? If so, do you provide them with the required classification THEMA or BIC? If not, your titles hardly stand a chance of being noticed by decision makers at libraries in Germany, Austria or Switzerland. Numerous libraries select new titles using Dietmar Dreier’s new release service. Tailored to suit their desired subject areas and library profile, acquisitions librarians throughout the German-speaking regularly receive title lists with new releases from the UK and the USA via Dietmar Dreier. The VLB, KNV and Nielsen catalogues are the cornerstone of libraries’ title selection processes.
  • Research: Our library clients use the Dietmar Dreier website for title research. Registering your titles with the VLB, KNV or Nielsen catalogues ensures our clients will see your titles.
  • Customer care at the title level: we create individual title offers on demand, research prices for individual titles and identify parallel versions as necessary.
  • Print PDA: ensure your titles aren’t missing from print PDA projects by including common classifications for your titles (THEMA or BIC) and reporting these to Nielsen, KNV and the VLB.
  • FYP: Finding Your Preference: we research the optimal edition of your product for our clients (print/e-book).
